MLS Dues Billing Policy

Billing Date:

On or before the 15th day of the last month of the quarter, statements will be prepared and distributed to the MLS Participants in good standing with the SRCAR for the following quarter.

Billing Statement:

Each billing statement will contain the name and address of the Participant in the SRCAR along with the invoice number, due date and total amount due. The total amount due is based on the total number of subscribers registered with the participant times the current dues dollar amount. The participant is responsible for all dues & fees.

Due Date:

Billing statements are due and payable by the date noticed on the billing statement. (revised 02/02)

Suspension of Service/Late Fees:

Billing statements will also contain the date in which SRCAR will interrupt service due to non-payment of fees. Payments not received as of this date will have their service interrupted. Payments received after this date will be considered past due and subject to the 10% late fee. (02/02)

On the 1st day of the following month (2nd month of the quarter), should payment not have been received, the staff is instructed to suspend the membership and should the participant and/or subscriber wish to reinstate his/her membership, MLS dues for the current quarter along with the late fee of 15% must be paid in full prior to activation o service. On the 1st day of the following month (3rd month of the quarter), should the participant and/or subscriber wish to reinstate his/her membership, MLS dues for the current quarter along with the late fee of 20% must be paid in full prior to activation o service. (11/03).

As of the 1st day of the following quarter, should the participant and/or subscriber wish to reinstate his/her membership, current MLS dues must be paid along with a reinstate fee of $50.00 per person. (11/03)

At the end of one year of suspended membership due to non-payment of MLS dues, should the participant and/or subscriber wish to reinstate his/her membership, current MLS dues must be paid along with a new application fee for the participant and/or subscriber. (11/03)
Regional MLS Billing:

By the 14th day of each month, all unpaid members of the SRCAR have been inactivated in the MLS system. On the 15th of each month, CRMLS – the regional MLS the SRCAR has contracted with for on-line MLS services, processes their billing report of active members and bills the local organizations accordingly. The local organization is responsible for payment of all active members in the system in accordance with the due date as established by the regional MLS.

Billing:

The MLS Dues Billing Policy applies to participants. All Participants will be billed quarterly unless participants wishing to be billed monthly have contacted the Assistant Executive Vice President for confirmation.
