Kirk Effinger

Kirk Effinger
Broker Associate, Windermere Homes & Estates

I grew up in and around the real estate business.  Some of my earliest memories are of accompanying my dad, also a licensed real estate broker, on construction sites, doing construction cleanup as a boy and, as a teenager, spending vacation days working as a laborer on construction sites.

After service in the Air Force, my adult  work career began with my selling lumber in bulk to builders and contractors for one of the largest lumber companies in California. I later went back into construction as a superintendent for a large California builder, helping to supervise construction of hundreds of homes from Northridge to San Diego. I later became a project manager and obtained my real estate license while working for another developer.

I spent the next twenty-five years in the mortgage industry as a loan officer, branch manager, and division vice-president at various firms. I was active in the North San Diego County Association of REALTORS®  as an affiliate and had the pleasure and distinction of being named “Affiliate of the Year”, as well as being the first affiliate to be invited to serve on that Association’s Legislative Committee.

In 2006, I could see dark clouds on the horizon, and decided to make a switch away from the real estate industry I had been involved in my entire life, starting a magazine publishing company with my daughter. We had a good run, but became victims of the economy and, in 2010, shut down the business. So, it was back home to real estate, but this time as a broker associate/agent.

It’s important to me to be involved in my community.  Over several years I have volunteered and served on numerous commissions and non-profit boards.  I am currently the board chair of the Palomar Health Foundation in North County San Diego and a member of the Murrieta Rotary Club. I serve as a member of the SRCAR Legislative Committee and the Networking & Property Preview Committee.

My wife Kaye and I have lived in Murrieta since 2018. I have two grown children. Daughter Kelly is my graphic designer, and my son Sean works with me part-time as a licensee.

Michael Perciful

Michael Perciful, incumbent
Broker, SoCal REALTORS & Associates

My name is Michael Perciful. I am the Broker/Owner of SoCal REALTORS & Associates. I have been a licensed REALTOR® since 2005, and became a broker in 2008.  I am currently serving as one of your Board of Directors and as 2017, President of the Southwest Riverside County Association of REALTORS®.  I have served as a director since 2014.  Prior to serving as a director I served on the Professional Standards committee and as Pro-Standards Chair in 2013.  It is important to me to continue to work for you, the members to bring you the best local association I can.

While serving as a SRCAR director I have also served as a C.A.R. director serving on many different committee’s.  Including Professional Standards, Local Government Forum, Land Use & Environmental, Association Presidents, Executive, and Regional Chairs.

In 2012, I was appointed to the Hemet Planning Commission. I served for 5 years and as vice chair for 2 years before I was elected to the Hemet City Council in 2016.  While serving as Planning Commissioner and then Council Member, I kept my decision making all centered around real estate, REALTORS®, private property rights, and how would it affect housing.

Prior to starting my career in real estate I was a police officer and a military veteran.  My goal is to continue to serve you, my fellow REALTOR®.  To take all the training and experience I have gained over the years to continue to work on your behalf. To see that our local association can continue to work for you by Empowering you, the REALTOR®, to provide quality service to your clients. Promoting the REALTOR® brand, keeping you at the center of the transaction. Lastly, Protecting you as a REALTOR® to advocate legislatively for you so we can all continue to work in the real estate profession.

I humbly ask for your vote to re-elect Michael Perciful to your Board of Directors.
