Membership Request for Information

This form has been created to assist SRCAR® membership in order to request information they may be or are entitled to under the California Corporations Code and to help ensure the integrity and transparency of your Association. Please be aware that this form is only available to active SRCAR® REALTOR® Members. SRCAR® has thousands of members. This mandatory form will ensure the privacy of our members and the orderly governance of the association.

Pursuant to the Corporations Code, Members who seek certain information from the Association must submit a written request to the Association naming of all the documents to be reviewed. The member must state in that written request a proper purpose reasonably related to his/her interest as a member and how that purpose is related to his her membership. Finally, the member must state the period of time he/she needs to review the documents. Once these procedures are met, the Association will gather the records the member is entitled to review and will arrange a mutually satisfactory time for him/her to inspect the documents at the Association. Please be aware, that membership in SRCAR® does not automatically entitle members to all information the Association may possess. Generally, Members are entitled to the following: SRCAR® Articles; SRCAR® Bylaws; SRCAR® Minutes; and Financial Records.

In order for the Association to respond to the request for information, please provide the following information. If this form is submitted incomplete, the Association will not be able to review or respond to your request.
